Langeais
This castle’s main purpose was for war, however, it was used for peace and became another great «house in the country» for royalty and the aristocracy of the time. It had very elaborate military defenses, although they were never finished (some of the ramparts are missing). The drawbridge is still operational, and is raised and lowered twice a day.
