36 kilometers from Tours. Built on a rock in the center of the town with the same name in a strategic position, starting 11th century. In the 14th century the old building was remodelled for Charles VIII and Louis XII and «la Dame de beauté» Agnés Sorel. Since 1995 the former prison of Louis XI is being reconstructed.
